Faith communities and the Ontario election: A workshop to help you get started @ St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church
Apr 9 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The workshop is aimed at any faith leader who is interested in
developing a specific plan of action for a congregation or community
as the election approaches. Presentations and discussion will focus on
three themes:

t* The nuts-and-bolts of campaigns: How best to engage candidates and
campaign influencers.
t* Engaging the media: What is the best way to use all forms of media
(including social media) to help you shine a spotlight on election
issues concerning your faith community.
t* Practical ideas for congregations/communities. How to develop a
plan of action for the upcoming campaign.

tTo help facilitate the discussion, we have engaged individuals with
significant experience in politics, campaigning and mobilizing faith
groups, and we look forward to a productive evening.

tThere is no charge for the event but we are asking for a $10 donation
to help cover the costs of the light supper that will be provided.

tIf you have not already, we would ask you to formally register for
the event. Please register at Faith communities and the Ontario
election: A workshop to help you get started – Event Registration Form

tPlease feel free to pass this on to other faith leaders who may find
this of interest.

tAnd please don’t hesitate to contact us at seminary@wlu.ca [2] if you
have any questions or require further information.

tI hope to see you on April 9th.
